Never Abandon Your Faith

Life happens to all us. There are things in life that we just simply do not understand and things that are out of control. But no matter what is going on, we should never abandon our faith.

There are a lot of things going on my life, that I could easily be like “you know what God, why are you letting this happen to me?” But in reality God isn’t letting anything happen to me. This is not a direct personal attack. I’m not a victim and neither are you.

It’s simply called Life and it happens to all of us. We all have a choice in how we respond to things.

I choose to lay all my troubles on the throne. I choose to surrender. I choose to never abandon my faith.

When my heart is heavy, nothing calms my spirit and gives me more peace or mind, to know that I can surrender and hand it over to God. I don’t need to try to figure it all out. I’m not a miracle worker.

There are times when we all try to control and figure things out and we drive ourselves mad, trying to control the outcome, because we’re human and want to see instant results.

Life doesn’t work that way and neither does God.

We simply need to not abandon our faith and increase it. We simply need to trust and surrender and know that all is taken care of. Even when we can’t see a way, God does…God has the final say.

We simply need to quiet our mind, so that we can hear the spirit talk to us. We need to feel and know that Gods energy and love is surrounding us and that we all have guardian angels, to protect us and come to our aid when we need them.

Most of us tend to only believe in things that we can see. When we need to lean into the spirit of God and know that even though we do not understand, that one day we will. Whatever lesson we need to learn, we will learn.

God will show us why, we just have to be patient and trust in him.

Patience is a virtue…and while we’re waiting, we just need to not abandon our faith and know who holds tomorrow. We can find solace in prayer and know that what we want is being taken care of and to be grateful in every waking moment.

Remember that God answers prayers all the time, you just have to recognize when your prayer is being answered and never abandon your faith.

God is always working, in front of the scenes and behind the scenes, he’s the director. So be still and surrender, so your heart can be light and filled with Gods love.
